What ClearlyFair is
ClearlyFair is a self-help document tool. You describe your situation, and we generate documents (like negotiation letters) and educational information you can choose to use. ClearlyFair is not a law firm, is not your attorney, is not a medical billing advocate service, and does not provide legal, medical, or financial advice. Generated documents are drafts for your review: you decide what to send, and you are responsible for the accuracy of the details in them.
No guaranteed outcomes
Negotiation results depend on your provider, your facts, and factors outside anyone's control. We do not promise that any bill will be reduced, corrected, or forgiven.
Purchases and refunds
The negotiation letter is a one-time purchase delivered immediately after payment. If it is not useful to you, contact us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. Because your letter page and our copy of your bill details are deleted after 7 days, save or print your letter promptly.
Acceptable use
Use ClearlyFair only for bills and disputes that are genuinely yours (or that you are authorized to handle for someone else), and only with truthful information. Letters built on false information can harm your own position and may be unlawful.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClearlyFair's total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We provide the service "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. The "last updated" date at the top will always tell you when. Material changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect.
